Tampa Properties Prepare for St. Patty’s Day Fun
On Saturday, March 19th from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park turns into a little piece of Irish heaven. The Mayor’s River O’Green Fest is Tampa’s official St. Patrick’s Day event and you won’t want to miss out on this year’s festivities. With the Hillsborough River dyed green as the backdrop, visitors will enjoy live entertainment, delicious Irish faire, games, kids’ activities, beer and more. Admission is free so bring the whole family.
And for those who like to celebrate their inner Leprechaun all week long, buy tickets for the Rough Riders St. Pat’s Trolley Hop on Saturday, the 11th or stop by Ybor on the 12th for the Rough Riders’ celebrated parade.
For 134 years, Midtown Atlanta has hosted the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, making the event Atlanta’s longest running tradition. Plan to join in the fun on Saturday, March 12th from noon-1:30 p.m. (see route map.)
