Wow- we never thought it would happen this quickly! After staging the home, the photographers came in to do a house photo shoot. I’m sure all of the neighbors were intrigued when a van pulls up, the lights all come out and two photographers are running around snapping like crazy. I believe having professional photographers made the difference in our house sale. We have a very unique home. It is a 1964 mid century modern townhouse on a beautiful tree lined and lushly landscaped street which is very uncustomary in Scottsdale Arizona. Not only is our neighborhood really unique, but our house had been lovingly refinished throughout the years and is very unique. So we needed some help really selling its uniqueness so we didn’t fall into the trap of selling for too low of a price. This strategy wouldn’t work for everyone. In most cases you want to make your house appealing to the broadest number of people right? Well, no matter what we did, our house is a one of a kind and would need to find a one of a kind buyer who would hopefully pay us for its coolness.
Here’s one of the photos this awesome team took of our courtyard:

And here’s a picture from the listing from when we bought the house. Huge difference don’t you think? I think they did an amazing job of highlighting the coolness of our little house that’s not for everyone but surely is for someone.

Here’s our kitchen:

And here’s the shot from the previous listing. We have done some work in the kitchen, including replace some appliances, remove the fan and change out the backsplash but overall it’s the same space.

And here’s our master bathroom. I was never crazy about the colors of the tile but didn’t dislike it enough to demo it all out. However, this surely looks more inviting than the before picture right?
