Taylor Morrison is set to run for a great cause and you’re invited to join us. Our last Peak Performance event for 2012 is The Hot Chocolate Run to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Phoenix and the Salt River Community Children’s Fund. Both these non-profits help Phoenix-area kids and their families. Activities like this are part of our corporate mission to support the communities where we work and live. We hope you’ll help.
Register here for the 5K or 15K races on Sunday, December 9, beginning at 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. respectively. The races start at Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community and follow a scenic course. And afterwards, runners get to enjoy the most scrumptious post-race party with hot chocolate fondue and other decadent goodies and they get pretty impressive swag bags, too. No worries if you can’t run. You can still give. Please consider a donation. Every little bit helps.
Hot Chocolate, America’s Sweetest Races, began in Chicago 2008 with just 3,500 participants. This year, races were held in eight cities across the nation, attracting 40,000 runners and raising $342,730 to date to benefit worthy local causes.
