Mike and Glecy Lynch were some of the first homeowners to move into Taylor Morrison’s Adora Trails community in Gilbert, Arizona.
Understandably, they were excited to have their dream home built for them.
And with dozen miles of walking trails, an on-site Chandler Unified School District elementary school, a 4,000-square-foot clubhouse anchored with a 10-acre park and a four-acre fishing lake just outside their door, it was easy to see why the Lynches were excited.
They selected their floor plan, visited our design studio in Scottsdale to pick out their finishes and watched as the home took shape, finishing it all off with a dream backyard and special pool designed by Mike and his wife.
But there was something a little different about the Lynch home build – the camera crew following them around.
This month, you can follow the Lynches as their home breaks ground, walls are built, the pool is filled and they move in with their family. The home building experience was captured by the producers of DIY Network’s “Raising House” and debuted on the popular cable channel last week.
“Raising House” followed the Lynches through their home build, visited with them and their extended family as they prepared to move into their new home in Gilbert and finally captured them celebrating their brand new home at Adora Trails.
“We felt very honored that the Lynches not only chose our community but were willing to share the experience with television viewers,” said Pierrette Tierney, vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison’s Phoenix homes division. “Getting to see the home come to life on DIY will certainly be a great experience for our team and the Lynches.”
Repeat airings of the show will run through January so you still have time to watch as the Lynches move from home buyers to home owners. Visit www.diynetwork.com for show dates and times.
