People fall in love with our homes all the time, but one homebuyer in the Tranquility community by Taylor Morrison’s Toronto homebuilder Monarch has taken it to a whole new level. With the Monarch team’s help, a young man named Joseph surprised his girlfriend Natalie by popping the question while on a tour of the Serene model home.
“I suggested a modified Monarch email with a fake event invitation to the Sales people. They loved the idea and even issued it authentically for me from their office,” said Joseph. He proposed to Natalie before about 15 friends and family and some of the Monarch team.
“At first I was speechless,” Natalie said. “I had to catch myself, my knees went weak.”
When the couple was looking at Ajax new homes for sale, it was love at first sight of Tranquility and the Serene model home.
Natalie said yes to Joseph’s incredible proposal and they purchased the Serene model. Now, the happy couple has two major events to celebrate—their new home and a wedding.
