After touring our Irvine communities, check out some local spots. Irvine Ranch Historic Park includes 24 original ranch structures in a nod to Orange County’s agricultural history. Head to Orange County Great Park to soar in the Great Park Balloon, ride the Carousel, check out free sports equipment, visit the Palm Court Arts Complex and more. If you have the kids with you, don’t miss Pretend City Children’s Museum with play areas, hands-on learning, role playing and educational programming. To enjoy some top shelf shopping and dining, stroll Irvine Spectrum Center, known for its grand stores and boutique shops and, through February 16, 2015, an ice skating rink among the palm trees.
Eat:
Start the day with breakfast at Tustin Ranch Golf Club, which features mouth-watering selections for every taste. For lunch, stop by the pan-Asian Diamond Jamboree shopping plaza where you’ll find a variety of international food options. Or, grab a yummy bite at In-n-Out Burger, which is a Southern California drive-thru classic. They use fresh ingredients and no heat lamps, freezers or microwave ovens. Afterwards, walk it off on the beautiful University of California, Irvine campus. When dinnertime rolls around, if you time it just right you can dine at one of the lauded eateries while you’re at Irvine Spectrum Center.
Day Two – Costa Mesa / Newport Beach

Eat:
For breakfast, try the friendly Side Street Café, where delicious better-than-homemade food is served by friendly wait-staff. For a hot dog or hearty comfort food lunch, it’s hard to beat the small and quaint eatery called Crocker’s “The Well Dressed Frank” in Newport Beach. At the end of the day savor a meal at a casual or fine dining restaurant at South Coast Plaza.
Day Three – Yorba Linda / Anaheim
