Citrus Glen:
Movies, art and free concerts are on the docket in Claremont. The Claremont Art Walk takes place every Friday from 6-9pm.
Every Monday night in August Memorial Park will be rocking to blues, jazz, soul and classic rock. Concerts start at 7. Contact the Kiwanis Club of Claremont at 909-399-5490 for more details.
Camden Square:
On August 23rd the same venue hosts a local favorite, the Lake Forest Palooza rock festival! Plan to arrive before the show kicks off at 5pm to get a good seat in the grass. This year’s card includes headline act the Suburban Legends as well as crowd-pleasers 80z All Stars and Didi Benami.
Irvine:
Capella, Saviero, & Welton in Irvine
The first three Sundays in August feature spectacular free concerts at the Irvine Civic Center. Several of the area’s finest tribute bands will play covers to all-time favorites such as Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond and Stevie Nicks.
Shows kick off at 5:30pm. Gourmet food trucks and children’s entertainment area are also available.
San Diego:
Pack your blankets and a picnic basket to enjoy San Diego’s famous Summer Movies in the Park at various locations around town.
Carlsbad:
Montecina & Seagrove in Carlsbad
TGIF Concerts in the Park host top-notch acts every Friday all summer long from 6-8pm. Louie Cruz Beltran will rock Poinsettia Community Park with a Latin/Salsa groove on August 7th and Calavera Hills Community Park will feature a pair of stunning acts August 14th and 21st. Liquid Blue plays all your favorite dance covers and The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra Band goes old school with big band & swing!
Rancho Santa Fe:

From now through August 16th, the OC Fair is celebrating 125 years of spectacular summer fun! The Toyota Summer Concert Series in the Pacific Amphitheater will feature 80s favorites Huey Lewis & the News, Berlin, and the B-52’s as well as Latin superstar Juanes and more. The Greater West Covina Business Association and The City of West Covina proudly present their annual Free Summer Concert Series. Held in the Civic Center courtyard on Thursdays from 6-9, the August lineup features the premier dance band of Southern California, Cold Duck and an Eagle’s tribute ensemble.
Yorba Linda:
Palisades at Vista del Verde in Yorba Linda
Peruse the 2015 Summer Concert Series lineup to be held every Sunday in August at Hurless Barton Park. Bands include rock, country, R&B and a Beatles tribute act.
The Hurless Park Amphitheater will showcase a free viewing of Big Hero 6 at 7:45 on Friday, August 21st. Bring blankets or low chairs and cozy up in the grass for a night of family fun.
