Fort Myers/Naples
Naples Soap Company – Despite the name, Naples Soap Company offers a full line of the company’s natural skin and hair care products. Besides its Naples location, the store can be found in several other Florida cities.
Orlando
Made in Orlando – Own a vacation home in Orlando? Check these items out for next time you’re in town. The online travel planning source, visitorlando.com, provides this overview of unique locally made gift items: Southern Comfort food, stationery, coffee, honey, energy bars, and even marshmallows.
Sarasota
Floribbean Flo’s – Buy online or at her Gift Emporium and Tropical Bakery in Sarasota. Native Floridian Flo offers Florida-based items including gifts, gift baskets, citrus, gourmet tropical bakery items and “Frozen Chocolate Covered Key Lime Pie On a Stick.”
Tampa
Sweetwater Organic Farm – Mid October to May you can experience the farm during its Sunday Farmer’s Market. It’s all about local here, with produce, environmentally friendly products, workshops, music and yoga classes.
GEORGIA
Atlanta
Atlanta Made – The showroom partners with local artisans to offer up an interesting variety of merchandise including furniture, jewelry, herb salts and skin care as well as paintings, photographs and sculptures. Living in Atlanta never looked so good.
Beehive Atlanta – This boutique collective of independent local designers features housewares, apparel, baby goods, accessories, food goods and jewelry. The shop is decidedly stylish and lets customers engage with the artists themselves.
