For Ohm Sukung, family matters most. His wife and two children have emphasized the importance of inspiration, reliability, and support in his home life, ideas that Ohm has carried into his career as an award-winning Community Sales Manager for Taylor Morrison.
Ohm is a new home veteran of 18 years, 15 of which have been with Taylor Morrison. During those years, he has mastered the art of new home sales with a personal twist. “At the end of the day, it’s about making buyers happy. That has always been the focus,” Ohm said.
With the buyers in mind, Ohm focuses on the relationship between seller and buyer, making certain it doesn’t end when the construction team enters. Instead, he is there for his buyers every step of the way.
Ohm begins each day by driving to his home sites to check on the status of his buyers’ homes and ensuring that there aren’t any hiccups along the way. His dedication to the home buying process and his clients has helped to make him a top-ranking seller, winning the Company’s ACES Award for achieving excellence in Sales.
Ohm expresses admiration for Taylor Morrison’s culture and credits it as a factor in his success. “We take our business seriously, but manage to have a small family feel within the organization,” Ohm said.
The support system from his family at home and at Taylor Morrison has inspired Ohm to continue setting and achieving his goals. “I take a little inspiration from everyone at Taylor Morrison. The individuals at Taylor Morrison bring their own uniqueness to the Company,” Ohm said, “My wife and kids inspire me every day to be better.”
With support and inspiration, Ohm has been able to grow within Taylor Morrison over the years by piloting new programs and helping to support and enhance Taylor Morrison systems.
“I’ve been able to voice my opinions about our daily operations, inspiring change and growth in our processes,” Ohm said. The success of these new programs has made it easier for Ohm and other Community Sales Managers to achieve the Company goal of making buyers happy.
“It’s very rewarding to be able to sell a home to a buyer 15 years ago and see them buy from me, or from another Taylor Morrison community again,” Ohm said, “As part of the community, it’s great to see homeowners years later who have bought from me stop in, recognize me, and know they had a good home buying experience.”
With award-winning success and support from his family at home and his family with Taylor Morrison, Ohm looks forward to many more years of offering the same support and inspiration to his customers.
