Here are a few suggestions from MaryAnn and Molly about what to do and questions to ask when you’re interested in a community like Arabella Cove that is coming soon.
1. Sign up for the VIP Interest List.
“Once you join the VIP list, we’ll contact you with important updates first, prior to putting information out to the general public. That way, you get a first-look at floor plans, pricing, pre-sales and more,” says MaryAnn, adding that you’ll also receive invites to special VIP events, like tours and openings.
Become a VIP member by following the Join Our Interest List link on the community page.
2. Ask your IHC questions about the area.
IHCs are experts on the area in and around the community. Ask them anything, whether it’s in regards to fun things to do, commuting, nearby employment hubs, shopping and services, financing opportunities or anything else important to you, such as the best local schools.
“Parents ask us about schools, for example. Arabella Cove is in the Pinellas County School District, which has a high graduation rate and great range of career and technical programs. For parents with younger kids, you’ll love that Starkey Elementary School is just a couple of blocks from the community,” Molly explains.
3. Is the community well-located?
Arabella Cove gives you easy access to US Highway 19, I-275, and St. Pete-Clearwater International and Tampa International airports. That means, as a homeowner here you’ll live convenient to major transportation corridors, travel hubs, shopping centers, employment centers, recreation and more. Ask your IHC about your particular interests for recommendations.
“One of my favorite things about the community’s location is that it’s just a short drive from local Seminole beaches,” says Molly.
4. Is the area active and vibrant?
Explore what kind of events are held locally. The area around Arabella Cove is family friendly, but also has events catered towards adults. Everyone gets a kick out of the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg that runs through the downtown area. Kids and parents alike have a blast at the Gasparilla Pirate Festival parade and events, next held in late January of 2018. Once you start looking at the options, you realize there are an endless number of community events in and around Seminole.
5. What are some of the best destinations?
Because there’s so much to do in this part of Florida, we asked for recommendations.
“The Pinellas County beaches, state parks, seaside attractions and even the restaurants are incredible around here,” says MaryAnn, emphasizing that these are just a sampling of her favorites:
- Clearwater Beach – This Clearwater, Florida coastal destination offers white sand beaches and much, much more.
- Honeymoon Island – Swim, fish, snorkel on the gulf, search for shells on the beach and enjoy the wildlife and pine forests in this state park.
- Fort De Soto Park – MaryAnn recommends camping at this lush 1,136-acre park with five interconnected islands.
- Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks – The sea sponge industry is big here, and the area, which is deeply tied to the Greek culture, offers views of docked sponge boats as well as shops selling sponges and authentic Greek restaurants.
