The results are in and 2019 makes it four years running that Lifestory Research has named Taylor Morrison as America’s Most Trusted® Home Builder¹ — a feat no other home builder has achieved since the ‘Most Trusted’ awards were introduced seven years ago.

The study is based off tens of thousands of real customer opinions and measures are taken to ensure all participants meet qualifying demographics.

We’re proud to be ranked as the #3 home builder in our industry by such an esteemed business publication. Within our subcategory we also ranked #2 in people management and quality of product.

The list is compiled by top global management firm Korn Ferry and is based off the feedback of top leaders from 600+ companies across the globe.

It’s not just an honor to be included on the Fortune Most Admired list, it’s also a great sign that our mission and goals are pointed in the right direction.

Breaking the Status Quo & Shattering the Glass Ceiling

In such a traditionally male-dominated industry, Taylor Morrison has made incredible strides to bring gender equality to the home building business. According to the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index♥, we’re a national leader in this regard.

Chairman and CEO Sheryl Palmer, the only woman to lead a publicly traded homebuilder, has presided over the company for the last 11 years, growing the workforce to nearly equal male-to-female representation (54 and 46 percent, respectively), and boosting women’s seat at the leadership table. Women make up 33 percent of senior leadership and 47 percent of middle management roles across 17 divisions nationwide.

According to Jess Terry, Taylor Morrison’s Chief People Officer, more female leadership at the top is a key reason why the company is able to attract such great talent. Female candidates see that the sky’s the limit and that every position in the company is available should they rise in the ranks — including CEO!
