Come to the FREE Senior Resource Fair … if you are interested in what programs and services are available to adults ages 55+ in Woodland and Yolo County. More than sixty organizations who serve Woodland will be on-site to answer questions and provide materials, covering topics such as: health care, assisted living facilities, in-home support services, health and fitness, adaptive devices, legal and tax assistance, support groups, senior travel, volunteerism, repairs and chores, social services, and much more! The YMCA Fitness & Wellness Center located within the Community Center has opened their doors to seniors for this event and welcomes you to try their full gym and try one of their many group exercise classes.  Free exercise and fitness classes will be available for seniors to try including: “Chair Balance & Stretch” and “Silver Cycle.”

Join us as we honor and celebrate moms and their tireless commitment to family and community at this fun event presented by Folsom Parks & Recreation in partnership with the Palladio and Kaiser. The 5K course – 3.1 miles – is flat and closed to traffic, making it an ideal route whether you’re a runner, walker, or stroller strider.
