The acquisition of Pyatt Builders marks Taylor Morrison’s immergence into a brand-new region, and with plans to substantially grow our business in the Indianapolis metro, we’re feeling opportunistic about putting down roots in the Midwest. Indianapolis will become our 20th market and will be under the leadership of Pyatt’s President and co-Founder, Todd Pyatt, who has joined the company as Division President of the new Indianapolis Division.

Pyatt Builders opened its doors in 2009 and established over 50+ locations throughout the greater Indianapolis area with a milestone of 1,000+ homes sold reached in 2021. Pyatt Builders was a private, locally-owned, new-home builder, operated out of Carmel, Indiana.
With a focus on entry-level and first-move-up buyers, Pyatt serves the market’s deepest consumer segments with an average closing price just below $400,000 in 2023. The company has a healthy land pipeline of approximately 1,500 lots and has averaged an annual delivery volume of around 220 home closings over the last four years, with strong growth to the 300-500 range in the next two years anticipated based on new communities already under development.
