Small Town Charm

Although it wasn’t incorporated until 1925, Oviedo’s history is long. Homesteaders arrived in 1861 and settled along the shores Lake Jesup. A lot has happened since then, and Oviedo has maintained it’s small-town feel all through the years. Today, the population is almost 35,000.


Bustling Locale

Oviedo residents enjoy thriving farmer’s markets such as Good Neighbors Farmers Market. Old Town Oviedo offers quaint shops, retailers and restaurants. The town is near Lake Jesup and the Black Hammock Wilderness Area, and features Twin Rivers Golf Club and lots of other activities and outdoor recreation.
