MLB teams have been heading south for the winter for over 100 years. Fans love tagging along for practice games, too. It’s a great chance to see your favorite players up close and maybe get an autograph.

- The Treo in Scottsdale offers quick access to two stadiums. The first, Scottsdale Stadium of the San Francisco Giants. The second, Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. Home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies.
- The World Champion Chicago Cubs train at Sloan Park in Mesa. This is also home to the Oakland A’s facility, Hohokam Park. Taylor Morrison features 5 communities nearby.
- Several new home communities in Peoria, AZ are down the road from Peoria Sports Complex. Home of the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners.
Dates and Schedules
Players begin workouts Tuesday, February 14, 2017 – Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Consult the official Cactus League website to see when your favorite position group warms up. The spring season begins Wednesday, February 22, 2017 and runs until Saturday, April 1, 2017.
