Of any year to be named America’s Most Trusted® Home Builder, this year is the most important, because it signifies that we continued earning our customers’ trust during a pandemic—and when they needed it most. After being recognized with this momentous award for six years in a row, it’s fair to say this distinction is far more than an award. Being trusted is simply who we are.
Sheryl Palmer, Taylor Morrison Chairman and CEO
Cultivating our consumers’ trust has never been more important than during a year of uncertainty and unpredictability. Taylor Morrison has built a foundation based on trust and home shoppers have continued to place their trust in us—propelling the company to the top of the national rankings yet again. For the sixth year in a row, we have been named America’s Most Trusted® Home Builder by Lifestory Research.
For Taylor Morrison, being named America’s Most Trusted® serves a greater purpose and has a much deeper meaning for our organization and our brand. It’s not easy to enhance customer trust in a pandemic era, in fact, it’s hard work and the company has proven time and time again to be up for the challenge. Our trustworthy reputation was furthered even more in the virtual world—offering our customers a variety of innovative tools to shop for their dream home safely and conveniently, including virtual tours, self-guided tours and home reservations.
Following a year in which people turned to those they most trust, Taylor Morrison once again was the homebuilder brand consumers continued to admire and rely on. In a year with so much uncertainty, we applaud Taylor Morrison in retaining the top rank as the America’s Most Trusted Home Builder for the sixth consecutive year.”

I’ve had a contract on my home since July 2020 and it remains under construction as of 4/15/2021. I’m really disappointed in the lack of communication from the community sales associates. Our previous sales person departed the company in January 2021. We would receive updates when she was present but since her departure, no one has called to introduce themselves or provided any updates on our build. In order to have trust in a company you would expect a bit more substance in the customer service department from your sales professionals. I feel since they have “inherited” someone else’s client, it’s not as important to provide service or updates to us. This is very disappointing!!
It now appears that we have an exterior elevation that we were not exactly expecting and no one has returned my email or called to follow-up on this matter. There was supposed to be brick on the rear of the home but they are now putting Hardi plank on the rear and no one informed me of this. I picked out a certain color of brick in my contract and Not Hardi plank. They also forgot to put the electrical plug in the living room floor. The attic ladder is also not aligned correctly, one leg of the ladder is on the bump up and the other is on the floor of the garage. We are suppose to close in May 2021 but there is so much left to do and not having any updates doesn’t help the situation.

You SAY that you are the most trust builder in America. That has NOT been my experience with Taylor Morrison.
The local management team & subcontracters were unqualified to build a home. Our home was built by construction workers — NOT skilled trades people.
The finish quality of the initial construction on our home was very disappointing. We had two different roof leaks in the first two months. We had MOLD in our A/C unit; four interior doors that did not close properly; tile that was not grouted in two of our showers; a 3-way light switch that did not function; a patio with a 10-inch step down; baseboards that gap 3/8″ from the drywall & from the tile floor; unsitely/lumpy grout on kitchen backsplash, dented & poorly repaired roof drip-edge & facia; garage doors that popped and stuttered due to poor alignment; bugs that were trapped in the exterior painted; and our new home was not even clean the day we moved in.
Taylor Morrison says all that can be fixed after you move in — making the new homeowner afraid to give a honest (poor) review survey in fear of not getting things fixed that should have been done properly the first time.
We spent the first six months of our NEW home experience scheduling “warranty” visits with Taylor Morrison subcontactors. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE. TRUST HAS TO BE EARNED.

I am severely disappointed in your Stansil Park Community and it lack of Communication to parties interested in buying a home but you are taking advantage of a difficult buyers market to make more money off your lots. We were basically told that waiting lists are a waste of time and the lots go to the highest bidder (which is no where disclosed on your marketing materials or website). The sales team told my real estate agent and myself they have the right to pick and choose who gets to live at their community at their own discretion and we are required to go through your lending company despite having pre approval with our lender to better out odds of getting a lot. Your sales team had the attitude of “take it or leave it”and we can change the rules at any time without notifying any parties who have been our waiting list. We choose your community because it was the best fit for our family and to see experience this kind of disregard in your customer service to new home buyers is unacceptable
